Aufgaben

The Field Service Engineer Systems provides on-site field service support through the performance of installations, upgrades, repairs, and maintenance of complex capital equipment and systems.

  • Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of semiconductor equipment
  • Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance schedules across customer sites

    • Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance schedules across customer sites
    • Ensure strict compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements
    • Support multiple equipment platforms with flexibility and technical depth
    • Report to the Service Manager on equipment status, EHS concerns, and action items with regular updates
    • Engage with customers as the primary technical contact, managing service-related discussions and expectations
    • Maintain and oversee the performance of assigned equipment installations and installations base

Profil
  • Mechanical or electrical engineering degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor field service
  • Strong electrical knowledge, including the ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Proven ability to apply systematic, step-by-step troubleshooting methodologies to diagnose root causes and implement effective solutions
  • Excellent knowledge of EHS guidelines and best practices with a safety-first mindset
  • Able to perform physical work on tools in a cleanroom environment

· Fluent in either English or German, with basic conversational proficiency in the other language. (Knowledge of Japanese or Chinese would be an advantage)

· Willingness to travel internationally for training and business purposes, including but not limited to Europe, Japan, and the United States.

· Valid driver's license for Europe
