The Quality Leader builds and integrates the Quality function for Operations Centre Neuenberg 2 (ON2) into the site organisation. This new site and team offer a chance to establish ON2 as the benchmark for quality in e-commerce logistics during launch and normal operations.

The team ensures every customer receives the right product, in the right condition, on time, while supporting site safety, productivity, and growth targets during launch and normal operations.

The role combines customer focus, high standards, quality built into processes, fact-based problem solving, and our values: cooperative, innovative, piratisch, self-responsible, and ambitious.

• Lead, challenge, and develop the ON2 Quality team, setting priorities based on customer impact and operational risk.
• Develop Quality Engineers and specialists as capable coaches and problem solvers.
• Translate complaints, returns, and operational defects into improvement priorities.
• Ensure rapid containment of customer risks and eliminate root causes permanently.
• Integrate quality standards and controls into our Operating System and daily shop-floor management.
• Maintain one trusted view of ON2 quality performance, connecting operational defects with complaints, returns, damage, supplier issues, and cost.
• Enable employees to identify, stop, and escalate abnormal processes, preventing defects from reaching the next process or customer.
• Partner with Operations, CI, Training, Safety, Engineering, IT, Customer Service, and other logistics sites, and coordinate improvements with suppliers, packaging partners, and carriers.
• Participate actively in ON2 performance-management routines, and share standards, learning, and successful countermeasures across the Galaxus logistics network.

• Large-site launch experience (1000+ employees) and quality management in high-volume logistics or manufacturing
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• A deep quality toolkit: Lean/TPS and built-in quality, root-cause analysis (PDCA, A3, 8D, PFMEA, control plans), auditing and process-control design, and statistical analysis/data visualisation
• Strong stakeholder & people management: change and project management, coaching, facilitation, clear communication, and constructive challenge
• Customer-focused operational excellence: sound judgement and end-to-end process thinking to drive effective and sustainable improvements
• Good communication skills in English (Level B2). If you're not at that level yet, you should be willing to improve your English
